### MCP — Model Context Protocol

MCP is a shared standard for connecting AI applications to software, files and databases. It lets an AI assistant retrieve information and perform actions through compatible connections.

For example: An assistant uses MCP to check a customer’s order in your sales system.

### A2A — Agent2Agent Protocol

*Connecting AI agents to each other*

A2A is a shared standard that lets AI agents communicate and work together, even when built on different platforms. They can exchange information, delegate tasks and return results.

For example: A sales agent asks a delivery agent to arrange shipping and receives the confirmed delivery date.
